Guidance

A popular option for horizontal blinds with aluminium slats is guidance. This consists of plastified steel cables, which makes the blind very strong and durable. These cables run through the slats and are perfectly integrated into the product.
Guidance can be very useful when the blind is attached to a window or a door. This keeps the blind hanging in place when opening/closing the window and not waving freely around. You can also apply the guidance in rooms where there is frequently a draught so you are not disturbed by the noise.

The brackets for the guidance exist both for mounting in the window opening & outside the window opening. A perfect installation is guaranteed.

If you would opt for a system with tension cords, the pleated blind can be operated with an operating handle. This makes it very easy to handle smaller blinds.

Keeping the heat out on hot days?

Our Duette® Shades are the best choice if you want to achieve this. The fabric is formed in a honey comb structure, which serves as an isolating layer in front of your window.  During summer this layer is blocking the heat transmission from outside to the inside, during winter this prevents warmth escaping through the glass. You understand it correctly, ideal for your energy bill!
